Our Program(s)

Building Stability. Supporting Families. Changing Trajectories.

At Wayfinders Village, we provide wraparound support for families, addressing the real-life barriers that impact stability, child development, and long-term outcomes.

Our programs are designed to work together—supporting families in moments of crisis, growth, and long-term development.

Our Program Model

We focus on three core areas:

1. Stabilization

Immediate support during times of crisis to prevent long-term disruption.

2. Support

Resources and guidance to strengthen caregivers and reduce stress.

3. Development

High-quality early childhood education and long-term family growth.

Expanding Programs

As Wayfinders Village grows, we are building additional programs that expand support beyond emergency intervention.

Current Program(s)

Family Stabilization Fund

The Wayfinders Village Family Stabilization Fund provides short-term emergency assistance to help families remain stable during periods of temporary financial hardship.

This fund is intended for high-impact, essential expenses that directly affect a family’s housing, utilities, or ability to maintain employment. Assistance is limited to up to $1,000 per household and is paid directly to the vendor or service provider, never to the individual.

What this fund may cover

The Family Stabilization Fund may be used for documented emergency expenses such as:

  • rent or mortgage payments
  • utility bills, including electric, water, and gas
  • employment-critical transportation repairs
  • other verified, stability-related bills approved by Wayfinders Village

What this fund does not cover

This fund is not intended for general cash assistance or everyday retail purchases. Requests for the following are not eligible under this program:

  • groceries
  • clothing
  • household shopping not billed through a vendor
  • undocumented or unverifiable expenses
  • direct cash assistance

How it works

Applicants must complete the Family Stabilization Fund application and provide supporting documentation, including a copy of the bill, invoice, notice, or statement showing the amount due and the vendor information.

Applicants must also explain:

  • the circumstances that created the hardship
  • why assistance is needed at this time
  • the steps being taken to prevent the situation from happening again

All requests are reviewed according to program guidelines. Funding is limited and approval is not guaranteed.

Important program terms

  • maximum assistance is $1,000 per household
  • assistance is intended for temporary emergency situations
  • payment is made directly to the vendor
  • complete documentation is required before a request can be reviewed
  • Wayfinders Village retains final discretion in determining what qualifies as emergency or essential assistance
  • once available program funds are exhausted, no further awards will be made until funding is replenished
