Wayfinders Village is an intentional ecosystem built to support the whole caregiver, not just the child. Our programs are trauma-informed, accessible, and designed for real life — including diaper programs, food pantry connections, flexible scheduling, and culturally responsive care.
Our team blends early childhood education with psychology, curriculum, and lived experience. We know that healing doesn’t just happen in therapy — it happens when a mother finds someone who says, “You’re not alone.”
In a country where resources for pregnant women often disappear after birth, we stay. That’s what makes us different. That’s what makes us the village.
Wayfinders Village was born from a simple but powerful truth: parenting should never be a solitary act of survival.
After witnessing a close friend face an impossible choice — termination not out of want, but lack of support — our founder knew something had to change.
In a time when many women are pushed to the edge by policy, poverty, or isolation, we envisioned a space where women could find hope, not judgment.
A space where children are nurtured, and mothers are not forgotten.
Wayfinders Village is that space — a nonprofit that wraps care, education, and community around families who need it most.
We are more than a childcare center; we are the village.
We uplift the voices of mothers, caregivers, and children, ensuring they are heard, seen, and valued in every decision we make.
We lead with honesty, transparency, and ethical responsibility — to our families, our funders, and each other.
At the core of everything we do is love: unconditional, nonjudgmental, and rooted in community care.
We foster growth through education — for children, parents, and staff — because knowledge is a key to healing.
We remove barriers to high-quality childcare, basic needs, and support networks so no one is left behind.
We believe in nurturing environments that help turn off inherited stress patterns and create new legacies of resilience.
We meet each family where they are, walking alongside them with compassion and understanding, not assumptions.
