The Wayfinders Village Family Stabilization Fund provides one-time financial assistance to families experiencing temporary financial hardship that threatens household stability.
This program is designed to support families during critical moments, helping prevent larger disruptions such as eviction, utility shutoff, or loss of employment.
- Maximum assistance: $1,000 per household
- Payments are made directly to the vendor or service provider
- Assistance is limited to essential, emergency expenses

Eligible Expenses
This fund may be used for essential expenses such as:
- Rent or mortgage payments
- Utility bills (electric, water, gas)
- Employment-related transportation repairs
- Other verified, emergency financial obligations
Ineligible Requests
The following are not eligible under this program:
- Grocery purchases
- Clothing or retail expenses
- Credit cards, loans, or non-essential bills
- Insurance premiums
- Any expense without verifiable documentation
This fund is specifically designed for high-impact expenses that directly affect housing, utilities, or employment stability.
Application Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must submit:
- A completed application form (PDF attached below) must be completed and returned with intake form
- A copy of the bill, invoice, or official notice must be attached to Intake Form
- Vendor contact information and balance due
- A written explanation of financial hardship
- A plan outlining how stability will be maintained moving forward
Applications missing required documentation will not be reviewed.

- A copy of the bill, invoice, or official notice

What to Expect
After submission:
- Your application will be reviewed for completeness
- Qualified applications will be presented to the Wayfinders Village Board
- The Board will evaluate the request based on urgency and impact
- If approved, payment will be issued directly to the vendor

Describe what led to your current financial situation, including:

Explain how you plan to prevent this situation from happening again, such as:
- Employment changes
- Budget adjustments
- Support systems or resources you are accessing
3. Ongoing Payment Ability
If assistance is approved, explain how you will maintain your future payments moving forward.

By submitting your application, you agree that:
- All information provided is true and accurate
- Wayfinders Village may verify information with the listed vendor
- Funds will be paid directly to the vendor, not to you
