Wayfinders Village partners with Bluegrass Behavioral Services to support children who may benefit from additional behavioral, emotional, or developmental support in the classroom.
For children who qualify through Medicaid or other eligible pathways, Bluegrass Behavioral may help provide therapeutic support services that work alongside the early learning program.
This partnership allows children to remain in a structured preschool environment while receiving additional support for emotional regulation, social skills, communication, and classroom participation.
Because therapeutic support depends on consistency, communication, and family engagement, families who qualify for Bluegrass Behavioral support must remain active in the process.
This may include completing required documentation, attending appointments, maintaining eligibility, communicating with the support team, and following through with recommended services.
Failure to maintain participation may result in the child no longer qualifying for a reserved therapeutic support space at Wayfinders Village.
Our goal is not to remove families from care. Our goal is to protect the integrity of the support model so children receive the consistent help they need to succeed.
Through our partnership with Tykes Academy, families may access before- and after-care services outside of Wayfinders Village operating hours. Extended care is available for an additional fee, and scholarship assistance may be available for eligible families to help offset the cost.
